GROWTH CHAMBERS
The high degree of control within 60 growth chambers makes it possible to duplicate any climate from tropical rain forests to arid desert. The space is available for use by NCSU faculty, students and staff, as well as researchers not affiliated with NC State University.
A CHAMBER TYPE
We have 22 operating ‘A-type’ Chambers. These chambers are our largest walk-in chambers.
B CHAMBER TYPE
We have 10 operating ‘B-type’ Chambers. These chambers are our smaller walk-in chambers.
C CHAMBER TYPE
We have 22 operating ‘C-type’ Chambers. These are our reach-in chambers.
H CHAMBER TYPE
We have two operating ‘H-type’ Chambers. These chambers are our tall walk-in chambers.
ARABIDOPSIS CHAMBER
We have a shared Arabidopsis chamber that consists of multiple shelving units.
CONVIRONS
We have two operating Conviron chambers.
PERCIVAL CHAMBERS
We have a few various operating Percival growth chambers.
INCUBATORS
Located in our Incubator room we have four incubator chambers.
