You can become a friend of the Phytotron by donating to the Phytotron Enhancement Fund to provide funds for improving the Phytotron or you can donate to the Giles Phytotron Endowment. This endowment was established by Lawrence Jon Giles in memory of Dr. Jack Downs, the first director of the NCSU Phytotron. It acknowledges his leadership and contribution to controlled environment research.
